DANO Network Content Submission Guidelines

To maintain high-quality standards, all content must be reviewed before consideration. Please follow the guidelines below for submitting your content to DANO Network.

Submission Requirements

1. Review Process

   • Free Q/A: Standard review is free of charge.

   • Expedited Q/A: Available for a fee of $25. 

2. Content Restrictions

   • No pornographic or overly sexualized content.

   • No footage of real death unless part of a documentary, which must include proper warnings.

3. Maturity Ratings

   • All films must have up-to-date maturity ratings according to the Motion Picture Association.

   • Ratings must appear at the very beginning of each video.

4. Technical Specifications

   • Video Quality: Minimum 1080p.

   • Formats: .mp4, ProRes.

   • Metadata Requirements:

     • Runtime

     • Cast

     • Synopsis

   • Closed Captioning: Closed captioning files must be included.

5. Hosting Requirements

   • Content providers are required to host their videos on a Content Delivery Network (CDN) such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), which offers free hosting plans.

   • Provide the CDN link to your video to DANO Network for monetization and streaming.

6. Optional Setup Service

   • DANO Network can set up your videos for streaming for a one-time processing fee of $149 per video.

7. Distribution Rights

   • Content providers must have the proper distribution rights for all submitted content.

   • DANO Network is not liable for any misrepresentation by content providers regarding intellectual property rights.

8. Monetization and Merchandising

   • Each piece of content will have a dedicated page with a monetized video player.

   • Optional: A merchandising section where content providers can sell merchandise related to their video.

9. Revenue Split Payment System

   • Exclusive Agreements: Content exclusive to DANO Network earns a higher revenue share.

   • Non-Exclusive Agreements: Content also streaming on other platforms (e.g., YouTube, Tubi) earns a standard revenue share.

Submission Checklist

•  Ensure your content complies with the restrictions on sexualized content and real death footage.

•  Include up-to-date Motion Picture Association maturity ratings at the beginning of your video.

•  Verify your video meets the technical specifications (1080p quality, .mp4 or ProRes format).

•  Include required metadata (runtime, cast, synopsis).

•  Include closed captioning files.

•  Host your video on a CDN (e.g., AWS) and provide the link.

•  (Optional) Choose DANO Network's setup service for a fee of $149 per video.

•  Confirm you have the necessary distribution rights.

•  Decide on an exclusive or non-exclusive agreement for revenue split.

By adhering to these guidelines, you ensure a smooth review process and maximize the potential for your content on DANO Network.
